In Muzambinho, a city in the interior of the south of Minas Gerais, residents created a list to find out who the “most closeted gays” in the place are. With an estimated population of 20.430 residents, it all started with a list to find out who were the “most annoying” people, then which were the “most pissed off” women and, finally, those who were in the closet. Speaking to the newspaper Estado de Minas, the Civil Police delegate, Sérgio Domingues, said that he is already aware of the lists and suspects that they appeared in schools in the city. “This type of list is circulating in nearby municipalities… I suppose the list started at a school in the city. But, from the moment it starts circulating on WhatsApp, control is lost,” he said. Women whose names were included on the list of “most whores” filed complaints at the police station. Regarding the “gayest”, no case has yet been opened.
