Indian filmmaker Apurva Asrani, one of the most successful in Bollywood, entered into a 13-year relationship with Siddhant. They both pretended to be cousins this whole time so they could live together.
Last Friday (29), Asrani proudly posted on Twitter that they both moved in together in their own house and tell neighbors that they are a couple.
“We were told to 'keep the curtains closed so neighbors don't suspect 'what' we are,” he wrote in the post. “It’s time for LGBTQ families to be normalized.”
For 13 years we intended to be cousins so we could rent a home together. We were told 'keep curtains drawn so neighbors don't know 'what' you are'. We recently bought our own home. Now we voluntarily tell neighbors we are partners?. It's time LGBTQ families are normalized too. pic.twitter.com/kZ9t9Wnc7i
