On Friday (27/03) the latest edition of the project "Sexta Eletrônica na Praça" took place, an initiative by GLICH (Grupo Liberdade e Cidadania Homosexual) in the city of Feira de Santana, in the interior of Bahia.

Countless DJs gathered to play in the square during the four Fridays of March. According to Rafael Carvalho, all types of tribes passed through there: gays who kissed in a public square, straight couples, hippies, skateboarders, circus people and more a world of people and there was no record of intolerance.

"Sexta Eletrônica na Praça" aims to celebrate DJ day, celebrated on March 09th; celebrate the law that recognizes disc jockeys as a profession and also make electronic music part of the most popular sectors.

The next step for the party organizers is to legalize the "União dos DJs Profissionais de Feira de Santana", an NGO whose main agenda is the fight against homophobia and the prevention of AIDS.
