Hot commissioners: Pedro Almodóvar releases a very gay trailer for his new film; come and see!

Filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar released the first images of his new feature film last Thursday night (13) during a tribute he received from the Hollywood Academy in London.

After years involved in good dramas, the filmmaker is back to comedies with “Los Amantes Pasajeros”. The plot takes place during a flight with the characters of Javier Cámara, Cecilia Roth, Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz.

In the images in the trailer, three very bouncy and handsome flight attendants appear singing and dancing to the song “I'm So Excited”, a hit from the 80s by the group Pointer Sisters. The title of the song will also be the English name of the film.

It is worth remembering that, in almost all of his works, Almodóvar walks through the universe of various sexualities and gender identities.

During the Academy's tribute, the most famous scenes from his 19 films were shown, including “All About My Mother”, “Talk to Her” and “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown”.

Below you can see the trailer for “Los Amantes Pasajeros”. I'm so excited!
