Emílio Santiago's partner asks the court for a pension for the singer's death

Even though he was very discreet in life, singer Emílio Santiago, who died on March 20th as a result of a stroke, had his relationship with professor Márcio Tadeu Ribeiro Francisco, from UERJ, revealed.

The case came to light due to a legal process that is being carried out in secret in the 4th Family Court of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJ-RJ).

According to journalist Léo Dias' column, in "O Dia", Márcio Tadeu claims to have lived with the singer for approximately 18 years. The professor fights for his concubinage relationship (not formalized) to be recognized in court as a stable union.

The value of the inheritance was not disclosed. However, it is known that Emílio Santiago owned properties in several Brazilian states, owned cars and a lot of jewelry, as well as an apartment in New York, in the United States.

The relationship between the teacher and the singer was known to the singers Alcione and Leny Andrade, who are witnesses in the process.
