Miss pageant in Brazil will have trans candidate for the first time

For the first time in Brazil, a trans candidate will participate in a Miss pageant. Model Náthalie Oliveira was selected to participate in Miss Rio de Janeiro and represent the municipality of Bom Jardim.

On her Instagram account, Náthalie shared the news with great joy. “With great affection and warmth in my heart, I come to set your team on fire. Well, get ready because there will be a TRANSEXUAL woman at Miss Rio de Janeiro. (…) You know my trajectory in the Miss world and how much I dedicate myself to representing all the women in our country, this time it will be no different”.
