New edition of Freedom On Board confirmed in 2012; check out everything that happened on the cruise

The last day of the trip aboard the MSC Armonia ship began with the unforgettable sight of arriving in Rio de Janeiro under a clear sky, sun rising and high temperatures. For those who disembarked, the favorite destinations were Ipanema, Copacabana and the traditional Christ the Redeemer. The ship was anchored at Pier Mauá between 7am and 18pm.

While at the ship's nightclub, "StarLight", there was another After Du Cajú event, which had a large audience, the pool became an option for those looking for tranquility and sun. Around 12pm, practically all the sun loungers on the deck were occupied and ambient music was playing to keep people entertained.

DJ Mauro Borges was the first to play. He opened his set with hits from the 90s, including "La Cubanita" in his own version. DJ Filipe Guerra took over the pick-ups next with his lively music. Junior Perón also played. Paulo Ciotti commanded the sound until around 16pm, when the ship and public took a break to prepare for the White Party.

Created by designer Rogério Figueiredo, the white party began with the ship docked in Rio. The opening act was DJ Nina Lopes, followed by Junior Peron and Robson Mouse.

The party started to fill up around 23pm during DJ Dri Toscano's set, which served as a great preview for the sound of Israeli Ronen Mizhari. Meanwhile, the musical created by the ship's recreation team with old hits such as "Love Generation", which was successful in 2005, and "YMCA", was not popular and broke the mood.

But Mizhari brought the atmosphere back to the party, despite the short set for an international attraction. Other highlights of the party were the sets by DJs Felipe Lira and Filipe Guerra. Expendable, the intervention with percussion did not please the public.

The third edition ended with a positive balance and with growth in the mainly musical quality of the event, an important point since the focus is on parties. The DJs were pleased and put on cool sets. The addition of foreigners to the line up also provided an interesting reinforcement and diversified the programming.
