Meet Isaias Vasconcelos, representative of Espírito Santo at Mister Brasil Diversity

Isaias Vasconcelos, 28, is the representative of the State of Espírito Santo at Mister Brasil Diversidade, which takes place on September 6th, in São Paulo.

The personal trainer said he wants to participate in Mister Brasil Diversidade to be able to "contribute to this unprepared society, where many think that being gay is a disease." The handsome hunk also says he aims to help this "new generation of homosexuals understand that desire for people of the same sex is normal and healthy."

Among his qualities, Isaias highlights that he is always in a good mood, "even in moments of distress", he reveals. Among his flaws, he highlights the fact that he is stubborn. "I only change my opinion when someone proves otherwise." Among his favorite activities, the one he likes most is "travelling, enjoying a good night out and dancing". His favorite dish is Japanese food.

Despite participating in an openly gay contest, Isaias was once married to a woman. "I came out as gay to my family after an unsuccessful relationship with a woman." The boy says that he decided to come out after his mother passed away. "I arrived at my father's house and revealed that I was in love with a boy. To my surprise, everything was very natural."
