Will the coronavirus stop us from dancing and having fun? Of course. AND Ben platt Have a suggestion to liven things up.

The 26-year-old gay actor, known for the series The Politician (Netflix), will host a “virtual dance party” for those in quarantine.

Platt has been announcing the party on Twitter, and taking advantage of the posts to announce that his intention, in addition to having fun, is to encourage donations to charities. Actors Noah Galvin and Kathryn Gallagher are joining Platt in the initiative.

To enjoy the party – aptly named “#Quarentunes” – with the three of them, you need to download the Stationhead app to access the playlist – which already features Beyoncé, Lizzo and Haim. All donations will be sent to the New York City Food Bank.
