The iconic LGBT Pride Parade in San Francisco, United States, is the latest to be canceled due to the new coronavirus pandemic. She would have her story's 50th edition in 2020.

The entity that organizes the event, San Francisco Pride, reported that it was difficult to make the decision, given the importance of the Parade for the city where pioneering movements for the rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people around the world are located.

In a statement, the organization said it intends to hold events remotely using digital platforms.
