Breeders marry gay penguins at zoo in China

In November last year, the two penguins were separated from their companions for trying to steal eggs from heterosexuals. Although both penguins are homosexual males, they had the natural urge to be fathers.

The following month, the breeders presented the couple with an egg whose parents were not taking good care of. The penguins took such good care of their chick that they were rewarded with a wedding celebration.

During the ceremony, one of them wore a bow tie and the other wore a red blouse, the traditional Chinese wedding color. They were then taken to a bridal suite, where they were served their favorite fish.
