It's been a year since Daniela mercury married the journalist Malu Verçosa. And, in an interview with the newspaper Extra, she revealed that the experience was full of learning, challenges, exposure and trials.

"We started dating and then we had a marriage with a lot of exposure in the media and a lot of judgments and comments. They even invented separations! We grew stronger through all of this, but it wasn't easy," she said, who claims to have arguments like any couple.
According to Daniela, the biggest difficulty in the relationship is that they are actually seen as a couple by society. "It's tiring, because we have to remind the world, all the time, that we are married so they can treat us the way they treat a straight couple. Society is not in the habit of considering the union of women as marriage. And there are still prejudiced terms, They don't call him a wife, but a companion."
Among the most exciting moments, she highlights vacations in Paris, Croatia and trips to Brazil for work. "We also received some human rights awards together for our attitude. During this one year, we decided to work together because we admire each other professionally and also because of the intensity of our passion (laughs). We haven't let go of each other."
