Singer Daniela Mercury fired a shot at Bolsonaro during Belo Horizonte's Virada Cultural. The incident happened after the president spoke badly about the people of the Northeast during a conversation with journalists.
Daniela shouted: “Save the people of the Northeast, save the Brazilian people and all the Brazilians who love this place”, and then sang the song Paraíba, by Luiz Gonzaga.
The singer also took the opportunity to ask for more rights for LGBT people. “It's good that we managed to criminalize homophobia, but I wanted to say that there are wonderful families made up of children of women, men, trans, that the world is not binary”, said the singer.
