Deputy Jessé de Farias Lopes, who is from the PSL, the same party as Jair Bolsonaro, opened a poll on his Facebook asking what his followers thought about banning gay kissing in public in Brazil and even stated in a suggestive tone, whether Brazil should pass a law similar to that in Russia.
“Demonstration being organized for Sunday in front of Bolsonaro’s house. Activists who demand (sic) respect without giving respect. In Russia, gay kissing in PUBLIC is prohibited by law, in order to preserve children's innocence. Would you be in favor of a law like this in Brazil? Vote and leave your comment.”
Remembering that in Russia many gays are murdered as a result of the highly homophobic government.
