Taking inspiration from a unicorn from the world of design she-ra this Aryan with a strong personality posed for the photographer's lens Chico Castro.
In your account Facebook, André revealed the story behind the photos, it's worth checking out:
"I loved the cartoon He-man. My mother bought all the dolls of those muscular heroes. My frustration was that Tila and Maligna didn't have loose hair to comb, it was made of plastic. When She-ra came out I was thrilled. Since she She was He-man's sister (?) it was natural to have her in the collection. And then they launched She-ra's horse. All pink, with rainbow armor and long manes. All the "men" thought it was absurd that I had that device clearly made for "girls". My mother stood up to everyone and never let me part with it. haunts me. I always knew that my mother, now deceased, must have been the only one who understood that my desire was always to be, and not just have, that winged unicorn", explains Andre.
Asked what his intention was with this project, André replies: "These photos are an extension of a study of images about sexuality. Many nude photo shoots are limited to exploring profiles that only reiterate the same pattern. And what had to be a space of bodily freedom becomes oppression.”
