Filmmaker Aluízio Abranches and actor Rafael Cardoso, from the film "From Beginning to End", participate this Sunday (20/12) in the program "Marília Gabriela Entrevista", which airs at 22pm on the pay channel GNT.
In the interview, Abranches talks about his controversial film, which addresses incest and homosexuality. "I touched on these subjects in a different way, the way I really wanted", says the director to Marília Gabriela.
Regarding the criticism that the film received in its opening week, Abranches explains that, despite the theme, he sees no reason to create conflicts in a love story between two brothers. "It's time to treat homosexuality in the most natural way possible," he argues.
Actor Rafael Cardoso says he had no problem starring in the sex scenes with João Gabriel Vasconcelos in the film. "I've never been too shy about anything, but working with art freed me a little more from those social ties that we all have," he says.
Regarding rumors that he was gay, the actor, who is preparing to debut in 2010 in a children's musical, says: "If I had been afraid of that, I wouldn't have even auditioned!"
