Director Ryan Murphy confirms the end of the series “Glee” after the 6th season

Glee fans can now despair: the sixth season will be the last. The news was confirmed by the director himself, Ryan Murphy, during a Fox group event in New York.

The series' ending had to be completely rethought due to the death of actor Cory Monteith, who played Finn, one of the main characters.

"The last year of the show, which will be the next one, was designed around Rachel and Finn's story. I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew the last scene, he was in it. I knew the last line , which she said to him. When a tragedy like this happens, you kind of have to take a break and figure out what you want to do, so we're figuring that out now," said the director.

In an interview with the website The Cape: actor Chris Colfer, who plays the gay character Kurt, spoke about the developments of the series, which is in its 5th season.

One of the recent episodes of Glee moved everyone with a tribute to Monteith. Actress Many Lea Michele (Rachel) sang the song "Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan. Remember below!
