Director of “Um Homem Só” explains why she decided to introduce an LGBT character into the plot

Intriguing and engaging, national fiction "One Man Alone" directed by Claudia Jouvi and starring  Vladimir Brichta e Mariana Ximenes, premiered this Thursday (29) in cinemas across the country.

Winner of 3 awards in lawn festival, including best actress for Mariana Ximenes, the film addresses the issue of cloning and presents very peculiar characters. 

The curious thing is to see that in a very subtle way the director introduced a character lesbian in history.

So far, no news, right? The interesting point is that the fact that one of the characters in the plot is a lesbian is not presented as an issue to be debated, it is just one of the character's various characteristics.
