Ellen DeGeneres overtook “rival” Oprah Winfrey in the popularity ranking of TV presenters in the United States, a portal poll revealed AOL Television released this Wednesday (26). Veteran presenter Larry King, from CNN, was chosen as the least sexy by internet users.
According to information from the agency Reuters, Ellen, who hosts the talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, received 46% of the votes from internet users, while Oprah appears with just 19%.
When asked which presenter they would take to dinner, internet users chose Ellen, who received 47% of the votes against 14% for Oprah – until then considered the queen of American television with her program “The Oprah Winfrey Show”.
The poll, which received more than 1 million votes, also chose the “sexiest” and “least sexy” presenters. Kelly Ripa, who hosts “Live with Regis and Kelly,” was chosen as the sexiest and the one with the best hairstyle, while Larry King, who runs the talk show “Larry King Live” on CNN, was chosen as the least sexy.
