Ellen DeGeneres for weeks she has been accused by several people – celebrities, former employees and acquaintances of employees – on social media of being “one of the most evil people in the world”.
Recently, an anonymous source told the magazine Us Weekly, that the 62-year-old presenter is “losing patience” with the accusations and is trying to keep her “nice” reputation intact.
“She thought it was all just poisonous jealousy from some people. haters. But it’s not something temporary – the blows keep coming,” the source said, as the magazine claims.
The accusations have been coming non-stop since January this year, when YouTuber Nikki Tutorials accused De Generes of being “cold” and “distant”. Then, a joke the presenter made went down really badly – she said that the quarantine in her house feels like a “prison”, because she has been wearing the same clothes for ten days and there “everyone is gay”. DeGeneres has also been accused of leaving her employees unsure whether they will be paid during the coronavirus crisis, while a former bodyguard said DeGeneres treated him in a “cold” and “inhumane” manner.
