the reality show Love Is Blind, from Netflix, has been a huge success with its attempts to answer the question “is love blind?” by bringing men and women together and seeing if there is a connection between them.

But for the presenter and lesbian icon Ellen DeGeneres, the series is not that realistic: and for the simple, but fair, reason that there are only heterosexual couples in the reality show.

Recently, DeGeneres made fun of Love Is Blind on your TV show, The Ellen Show.

“I was in one of the first episodes. I wasn’t looking for love and I didn’t find it,” she joked. In the sketch, the presenter pretends to be in one of the Love Is Blind panels, and it doesn't work out very well when she is courted by the man who appears on the other side of the panel.

“Someone get me out of here,” he says. “Ah, these straight people!”
