During the period from August 2000 to April 2001, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach was the spiritual guide of singer Michael Jackson – who died in June -, and this past Monday (28/09), in an interview with journalist Larry King, from CNN , revealed excerpts from recorded conversations with the king of pop.
In one of these excerpts, Michael Jackson said that the singer Madonna had tried to take him to a striptease bar. "She said, 'We're going to a restaurant and then we're going to a strip bar.' to go out together", Michael told the pastor.
According to the rabbi's recordings, the singer even stated that Madonna "is not a nice person." Among the statements is also about one of his first girlfriend, actress Brooke Shields. "She was one of the first loves of my life. I think she loved me as much as I loved her."
The recordings made by the rabbi, lasting more than 30 hours, will become the book "The Michael Jackson tapes: A tragic icon reveals his soul in intimate conversation", in Portuguese: "The Michael Jackson tapes: A tragic icon reveals his soul in intimate conversations."
