The Pope Emeritus Benedict 16 compares gay marriage to the “antichrist”, according to an autobiography authorized by him and published this Monday (4).

German Joseph Ratzinger, 93, who was pope between 2005 and 2013, defends in Benedict XVI – A Life that “a century ago it would have been considered absurd to talk about homosexual marriage. Today, anyone who opposes him is excommunicated from society. The same thing happens with abortion and the creation of human life in the laboratory.”

Still according to the Pope Emeritus, “the real threat to the Church is the global dictatorship of ideologies that claim to be humanist”.
