In the play, Danielle Winits will once again be between a gay couple

If you like soap operas, or at least followed “Amor à vida”, you still remember Amarilys, Danielle Winits’ character, who did everything to separate the couple Niko and Eron. Well, the actress will once again be between two men in the play “The Dog Laughed Better”. The actress will play Dione, an agent for a homosexual actor who will do anything to prevent him from coming out. “Amarylis was passionate, while Dione manipulates due to a professional issue,” Winits told the newspaper Extra. In the play, Danielle shares the stage with Julio Rocha and Rainer Cadete. The two are manipulated by Dione throughout almost the entire show and revealed that they are enjoying the challenge of playing homosexuals. “If I were gay, I would have no problem coming out. Our only obligation in life is to be happy. Imagine how bad it must be to live in hiding?”, defended Júlio Rocha. Rainer said that he does not believe that people need to expose their private lives. “I'm much more interested in talking about work than about personal life. No one knows the pain and delight of being what I am”, he concluded. The play is being shown at Teatro dos Quatro, in Gávea, Rio de Janeiro, and is directed by Cininha de Paula.
