Last Sunday (04) everyone was surprised at ENEM with a text about pajubá, a language that is popularly used by the LGBT community.
The question addressed what constitutes a dialect and based on the following example: “Nhaí, amapô! Don’t act crazy and pay my acué, stop doing it or else I’ll pull your picumã!”. After that, candidates had to answer some questions about what was characterized as a dialect.
Using as a reference the dictionary “Aurélia – A Dicionário da Língua Afiada” by Vitor Angelo and Fred Libi, the questions explained that many of the slang terms used in Pajubá originate from Yoruba.
