Engineer says neighbor stuck knife in his neck out of homophobia; watch

The engineer Rodrigo Kirchoff declared on his Facebook that he was the victim of a homophobic attack on March 10th. The reason would be the homophobia of a neighbor, from São Bernardo do Campo, in ABC Paulista.

According to Rodrigo, the neighbor called Wanderson had been promoting several homophobic offenses since November 2014. Until he decided to resort to physical aggression.

"When I came back (from the supermarket) he and his wife were in front of the entrance to my building. As I walked towards them to enter the building I heard his wife saying 'are you sure this is what you want?' (…). I was in front of the elevator when I felt a butt on my neck.

In the images taken by the security camera, the neighbor appears walking behind Rodrigo, who is holding supermarket bags, and in one movement takes out a knife and tries to stick it in the engineer's neck.

"He said, 'This is so you can learn not to look a real man in the face and now you're going to die, a faggot.' apartment where my friend helped me".

Rodrigo says that the cut hit his neck and spine, and that he was hospitalized. He is currently recovering at home for three months. "The attacker was arrested in the act, but was released by the police the next day after paying bail."
