This week, the director of the classic "Grease – Nos Tempos da Brilhantina", Randal Kleiser, said that he would like to see teen heartthrobs Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron as a homosexual couple in a possible remake of the musical.
The idea of seeing heartthrobs playing gay characters on TV or in the movies stirs our imagination. Even more so when these heartthrobs are examples of masculinity and virility.
Unfortunately, at least here in Brazil, broadcasters still resist putting their most beautiful actors in roles that would make James Franco and Sean Penn in "Milk" or Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor in "The Hustler of the Year" envious.
