British Andrea Fletcher is married to writer and journalist John Ozimek (photo), however, after Christmas there was a small change in their relationship: Andrea was now married to Jane Fae, but still lived with John. How is it possible? Simple. After a long time of silence and anguish, John decided that he wanted to be a woman, and revealed to his wife that he had never been happy as a man.
Taken by surprise, Andrea was a little confused at first, but later, she confesses that she ended up feeling relieved. "I thought he would tell me that he had some horrible illness or that he was going to abandon us. But, in the end, that was it. I confess that I was even relieved," she told the Daily Mail newspaper. For her, her feelings for John, now that she has become Jane, will not change.
"He can continue to be what he always was. And I continue to love that person, no matter if he is a man or a woman."
Andrea also said that the couple's son, Rafe, aged 5, questioned why his father was wearing a skirt. "I explained that some parents wear skirts if they wish." The boy continues to call "Jane" father. "And that's what he is to Rafe," concluded Andrea.
