The US government announced last Wednesday (20), a global plan to decriminalize homosexuality in all countries.
The plan has help from Germany and according to NBC, the US ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, was appointed. The idea is to put pressure on countries where being gay is a crime and people are punished.
Countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean are the main targets of this plan. “We are already in the 21st century. There are dozens of countries that continue to maintain laws that criminalize LGBT people for their existence,” said a government official.
