Soap opera author Gilberto Braga was accused of sexual harassment by an architecture student in Rio de Janeiro. The 27-year-old, who prefers to be called just Caldas, works out at the same gym as Braga and was surprised by a somewhat bold attitude.
“When he approached, I thought he was supposed to take turns using the device. I was completely disoriented by what happened. His personal trainer saw everything and came to apologize, but I was unable to continue my training. I went straight to management to make a complaint”, declared Caldas to journalist Leo Dias’ column.
According to the student, the author approached him when he was on a flexing table and felt his butt with great pleasure. “He always said some things when I passed by, but I never thought it would get to this point,” said Caldas.
When contacted by the journalist's column, the author said that he did not go to the gym on the day of the incident and, upon learning of the case, did not give it the slightest importance. “Tell him to plant potatoes,” said Braga.
The student, who has already requested images from the location's internal circuit security cameras, does not yet know whether he will take any legal action against the author. "The camera was exactly where I was working out. I don't know if I'm going to sue him, but it was a very mean thing," he concluded.
