4th year student writes moving essay in defense of gay marriage

While many adults remain prejudiced, children and young people set an example of equality.

A 4th year student at a school in the United States wrote an essay about gay marriage. His teacher shared the text on Reddit.

"You can't stop two gay people from getting married because they're grown up and it doesn't matter if it scares you, just get over it. You should be happy for them because it's an important moment in their lives. When I went to my grandparents' wedding, it was the happiest moment", wrote the student.

The teacher said that the topic was free and that he himself decided to talk about gay marriage.

At the end of the text, the young man gets straight to the point: "You shouldn't judge other people's lives because if you were gay, you wouldn't want people talking about you."

I hope the new generation builds a new world.
