According to a study carried out by the University of Pennsylvania, the old Carnival march that was sung with the following verse: “they like the bald ones the most”, really made sense. They discovered that in fact bald men are more attractive, sexy and convey more masculinity.
Bald men are more powerful and virile
The study used some volunteers who participated in 3 different tests. The tests included observations and comparisons of photos, with a physical description, without images, to verify the levels of attraction, power, leadership and masculinity of the men presented. In the three tests, the bald men were the ones in the lead.
A curious fact in the study was that when researchers showed photos of men who had their hair digitally removed, they conveyed a stronger and more dominant personality than when they had hair.
According to the research leader, one of the reasons why bald men looked stronger and more masculine would be the natural relationship we have between testosterone and hair loss, giving us more virility, power and leadership.
