USA: Candidate compares homosexuality to bestialism

Do you know what bestialism means? According to the Houaiss Portuguese Language Dictionary, bestialism is synonymous with a psychopathology of those who have sex with animals. This was the term that the Republican candidate for president of the United States, Mike Huckabee, used to define homosexuality.

In a recent interview, a journalist asked the candidate questions about the controversial statement and the changes he would like to introduce to the US Constitution. Huckabee added: “Well, I don't think it's a very radical view to say we're going to reaffirm marriage. I think the radical vision is to say that we are going to change the definition of marriage so that two men, two women, one man and three women, one man and one child, one man and one animal perform it. Once we change the definition, the door is open to another change. I think the radical position is to change something considered historic.”

Luckily for Americans and around the world, polls indicate that the candidate, publicly supported by actor Chuck Norris, does not have much chance of being elected.
