USA: Obama is booed by religious protester during gay event

US President Barack Obama was booed by a religious protester during a fundraising event for the gay organization "House of Blues". The protester shouted that "Jesus Christ is God, Barack Obama is the antichrist" and, soon after, was removed from the event.

After the incident, the event continued. The master of ceremonies was the actor Jesse Tyler, who plays Mitchell in the series "Modern Family". The actor thanked the president for overturning the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law, which banned out-of-the-closet gays within the Armed Forces.

"The end of the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Act is the achievement of our time," Tyler declared. When speaking, Obama spoke about the jobs law and that he promises to do more and more for the LGBT community. In addition to Obama, the mayor of Hollywood, John Duran, was also present at the event.
