Former MEC advisor, Silvio Grimaldo, decided to attack journalist Gleen Greenwald with a very homophobic comment. He posted the following sentence on Twitter: “The only positive thing in the Intercept article is HIV.”
After the attack, Glenn also used social media to respond to his former advisor: “Silvio Grimaldo, who until recently was a senior official in Bolsonaro's Ministry of Education, said this in response to the explosive revelations we published about Bolsonaro's Minister of Justice. Bolsonaro: 'the only positive thing about Intercept is HIV'. We will explain in a video in English a little about the political earthquake that shook Brazil and the Bolsonaro government as a result of the reports we did this week (and will continue to do) based on a huge archive of (previously) secret documents”, he wrote .
