Known for her statements considered homophobic, gospel singer Aline Barros is being sued by a former employee who was allegedly fired for being a lesbian.
According to information from journalist Leo Dias, from the newspaper O Dia, backing vocalist Rejane Silva de Magalhães alleges that the singer's company, Aline Barros Produções Artísticas, did not accept her homosexuality and was dismissed from the band without prior notice.
The value of the case in court is R$1 million. So far, Aline Barros has not commented on the matter.
