Facebook backtracks and approves lesbian ad

The battle to gain approval from the anúncio from the film And Then Came Lola ended in victory for everyone involved in the film project.

In an email to the film's producers, Facebook recanted and apologized: “Thank you for contacting us regarding the matter. Your ad has been reconsidered and approved. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

And Then Came Lola fans on Facebook were sent a message that said: “Fast Girl Films (and the whole “Lola” gang) wants to give a big thank you to all of you who helped show Facebook who WE are and that WE we matter. This just shows what happens when the community comes together. Now, let’s get back to the fun stuff… the movie and sharing it with all of you!”
