Feliciano says that “gay kiss” in Pernambuco only strengthens his candidacy for President

This week, an act took place in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in Greater Recife, against the pastor and federal deputy Marco Feliciano (PSC-SP).
 
Just over twenty people gathered to protest the fundamentalist ideas of the pastor, who was preaching during an evangelical event.

“Let’s applaud them. I only ask that you respect those who came here to pray”, Feliciano asked the faithful. Protesters carried posters and rainbow flags. 
 
 
Not at all intimidated by the protest, Feliciano drew attention to himself and declared that the demonstrations against him only increase his chances of running as a candidate for President of the Republic. 
 
“You [the protesters] are doing me tremendous good and I became even stronger after that. These people help in my candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic,” he declared.
 
When the controversial and controversial mandate at the Chamber Human Rights Committee, the deputy stated that he would run for senator. As for the presidency, Feliciano states that this is the "desire of every evangelical in the country".
 
"Knowing that we are the country with the greatest growth in the number of evangelicals and that we have to face absurd projects such as those required in the reform of the Penal Code. I dream of the government of the righteous and of the day when the president of this nation will hear what each pastor has something to say about these projects”, he declared.
