And last Saturday, 23/12, the last edition of the BITCH* party of the year took place. A new location was presented by the party: the old Volkswagen warehouse, in front of Leopoldina station. Incredible space! At the entrance, there was just a little lack of police and more lighting, as the street that led to the party was a little dark. But nothing that would diminish the prestige of the party. At the reception, Drag Isabelita dos Patins entertained the crowd. Once inside, the production once again used the red and yellow cloths and sequins, from the 09th edition, at the entrance to the party. It turned out really cool! Upon arriving at BITCH*, the public soon saw a large amusement park set up, remembering the good times when the party was held at Terra Encantada. Rocked! On the dance floor, DJs Vinícius and Marcus Vinícius fulfilled their roles well. Taking turns, the two DJs delivered a more tribal sound, using less house and drag music (which are hallmarks of the party). Chemical toilets were installed in a large area that was filled with an 8 meter high Hi-Tech Christmas tree. And a 2nd track, much smaller than the main one, housed the crowd who wanted a more diverse sound (from pop to funk). And it was pure play until dawn! Producer Téo Alcântara stated that a larger audience was expected, but it was worth it. But anyone who thinks the party was empty is mistaken. Yes, it filled up, a lot. But when we talk about BITCH* we immediately refer to a stupid proportion of people, which didn't occur in such a large number this time due to the fact that the edition had been held very recently and the public wasn't coming out as much. The recognition of those who went to the party and played seems to have been worth a lot to the producer, who affectionately received the A CAPA website showing the entire party space. And so BITCH* leaves its mark, confirming that it is today the main and biggest Gay party in the country, due to its audience, structure, sound and production. Overall, this new space presented appears to have been approved and you can wait: in 2007 more editions will take place in the gigantic warehouses. The public thanks you!
