Gramado Tourism Festival will have an unprecedented GLS Hall

It takes place between the 19th and 22nd of November 21st edition of the Gramado Tourism Festival. For the first time, the event will have a stand (photo) aimed at the GLS public, an initiative by TAM Viagens, Abrat GLS, IGLTA (International Gay and Lesbian Tourism Association) and Via G magazine.

Considered one of the most important in the world in this segment, the festival decided to focus on tourism for gays and lesbians as it understands that the market for this audience is already a reality. "Gay tourists move millions of dollars around the world, and there is no point in them continuing to be excluded", says Marta Rossi, one of the organizers.

During the four days of the event, workshops and lectures will be given, in addition to the exhibition of promotional material from sponsoring companies. According to Alex Bernardes, from Via G, national and international hotels, travel agencies, airlines, among other companies in the segment, have already been confirmed for the GLS salon. "The expectation is to hold a big festival and establish GLS tourism in Brazil once and for all," says Bernardes.

According to Clóvis Casemiro, IGLTA ambassador in Brazil and commercial manager at TAM Viagens, the intention is "to work on GLS tourism as a niche, with its needs and differences, as with any other segment, within a fair aimed only at professionals ."

This year, 13 thousand people are expected to visit the 17 thousand square meters of the fair. The organization's expectation is to bring together 300 exhibitors and around 2600 brands from Brazil and 50 other countries.
