Son reveals he is gay and mother surprises him with a message on Facebook; look!

American teenager Zach Gibson (right) decided to come out of the closet through a post on Facebook and also by changing his sexual orientation on the page. So far, nothing more. Except when his mother, Michelle McClain, who is part of her son's friends list on the social network, read the revelation and left a note for Zach.

The boy, who didn't have much support, was surprised by his mother's response. Michelle stated that she loved her son regardless of his sexual orientation and what she was really worried about was the mess in Zach's room.

"Zach,
I was surprised by your Facebook post where you came out [of the closet]. I want you to know that I love you unconditionally. I love you with all my actions, not just with words. I am very proud of you. I will always fight for you. Your sexual orientation doesn't change at all. You will forever remain the boy who won my heart", wrote his mother, without calling him first.

"The only thing that worries me is the number of empty soda cups and tea bottles in your room. Throw them away before the ants get in. I will always love you. Mommy", concluded Michelle, who decided to share the note on Facebook .

Within minutes, the image went viral and was published on the NOH8 campaign page, which fights for equal rights for homosexuals in the United States. From then on, Zach's mother received thousands of messages in support of her action.

"I knew I wouldn't see Zach before leaving for work so I decided to leave the note saying I was on his side. I also posted the message on my Facebook page knowing that my friends and family would take it as a good-natured joke. I I had no idea what would become a rage on the internet," said Zach's mother.

"People keep telling me I'm an amazing mom, but it's easy to be an amazing mom when you have such an amazing child," Michelle concluded.
