Film “Elvis and Madonna” will be shown in NY

The film “Elvis and Madonna”, by Marcelo Laffitte, will be shown in April at Tribeca Film 2010, an annual independent film festival held in New York and created by actor Robert De Niro.

In the film, actress Simone Spoladore plays the role of lesbian Elvis, a pizza delivery girl who dreams of being a photographer. Actor Igor Cotrim plays the transvestite Madona, a hairdresser who works hard to fulfill her dream of producing a musical show with drag queens.
