“We had a relationship based on a lot of love, complicity and the communion of lives that I am very proud to have lived.”

With these words, Thiago Salvatico, who is fighting in court to be recognized as a widower – and, therefore, one of the heirs – of Gugu liberato, went deeper into his defense in an interview with Fantastic (Globo) last Sunday (17).

“I can say, with the tranquility of someone who lived with him for more than eight years, that his biggest dream would be to be able to live in a world without prejudice, without judgments based on sexual orientation, in which people could freely express love, without suffering any consequences. type of consequence”, he reported.

But he wasn't the only one to tell the story from his point of view. Rose Miriam di Matteo, with whom the SBT and RecordTV presenter was married and had children, told Fantastic his side of the story: “I’ve never heard of the name Thiago Salvatico. Gugu never mentioned his name.”

She stated that, if he were alive, Gugu “would never take on an extramarital life”. “He would never form a family that wasn’t ours. Gugu was very happy with our family. With me, with João, Sofia and Marina”, he said.

Gugu died in October 2019, aged 60, after suffering a domestic accident in which he fell from a height of four meters and hit his head on the floor.
