“Folha de S. Paulo” publishes special section on LGBT tourism

The tourism section of the newspaper "Folha de São Paulo" this Thursday (06) was very colorful. The supplement was completely dedicated to the LGBT universe, announcing on the cover of the notebook: "Discovering the GLS world". Below, a photo of two men, back to back, hugging each other, watching the sea.

Over the course of six full pages, the notebook discussed the advancement – ​​or not – of LGBT tourism in Brazil, mentioning, for example, Brazilian participation in the ITB, in March, in Berlin – one of the largest tourism fairs in the world.

The newspaper also spoke about the recent achievement of national gay couples, who can declare Income Tax together, and published a timeline of 2010, with facts linked to gay visibility throughout the year.

He also gave an overview of the 24 gay hotels in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, especially The Royal Palms, where guests can swim naked in the pool, and interviewed the marketing manager of the Spanish hotel chain Axel, which specializes in dealing with the LGBT category.

Reports on gay tourism in Berlin and gay attractions in Brazil in 2011 also took place, ending with a schedule of events, from January 30th to October 21st. You killed it, Folha.
