The first collective wedding for LGBTs in Fortaleza took place last Saturday (7). In total, 30 couples got together at Parque da Liberdade/Cidade da Criança.
The wedding was carried out by the city of Fortaleza, through the Coordination of Policies for Sexual Diversity of the Secretariat for Citizenship and Human Rights (SCDH).
The event met the request of councilor Paulo Diógenes, held at the Fortaleza City Council. As he said, this was the beginning of many changes for the LGBT population.
