Ricardo Vélez Rodriguez, who was the name chosen by new president Jair Bolsonaro as the new Minister of Education, gave an interview and declared that the idea of discussing gender in schools is something abstract.
“Look, I don’t agree for a very simple reason: nature defines gender. It's the individual. So, the discussion of gender education seems a little abstract to me, a little general”, said the future minister to the portal G1.
