Gal Costa has been avoiding seeing her ex-friend Marina Lima again. The discomfort began after the Rio native declared, in an interview with “Joyce Pascowitch” magazine, that she had her first lesbian relationship with the Bahian woman, back in the 70s.
According to the newspaper “O Dia”, Gal barred Marina from entering her apartment last Tuesday in Salvador. The Rio singer was at an event in the capital of Bahia when she decided to stop by Gal's apartment, in the Campo Grande neighborhood. The idea was to talk about the interview and clarify possible misunderstandings.
According to the newspaper, Gal did not want to talk to Marina and, at the reception, asked them to say that she was not willing to help her. The carioca didn't insist and left.
In the interview with “Joyce Pascowitch”, Marina stated that Gal was her first lesbian affair, when she was still 17 years old. “I approached Gal and ended up having sex with her… It was very important for me because it showed me another horizon. I had sex with some singers, but without a doubt Gal was the most important. That's the one worth talking about. It was the first, right?,” she said.
