Galinha: Ingrid Guimarães talks about her lesbian character in the cinema; watch

In an interview with Globo Filmes, actress Ingrid Guimarães spoke about the character she plays in the film “Totalmente Inocentes”, currently showing in cinemas.

In the film, Ingrid plays a tough lesbian, editor of a sensationalist magazine called “Taras & Tiros”.

The actress said she accepted the role because she knew she could use comedy with the character. Rodrigo (Bittencourt, director of the film) gave me complete freedom and I proposed that this editor be gay, a very masculine woman. So, she talks to her girlfriend on the phone all the time and even has a certain irritation with men.”

Ingrid says that the character is a bit of a chicken, flirts with the girls in the newsroom and even throws out gems like “you’re very cute, it’s a shame you’re a man”. Below you can check out the interview.
