Gamer Dominique “SonicFOx” McLean, known for being one of the biggest fighting game players, and who is openly gay, last week promoted a charity live on a gaming platform, and raised more than US$ 22 thousand for an NGO LGBT.
The broadcast lasted more than 72 hours, and the money raised will be donated to the Trevor Project, an NGO focused on intervention and prevention of suicides in the gay community.
"We achieved! Together, we raised $22,150 for the Trevor Project in 72 hours. This will be a very special moment in my life for years to come, I hope things like this happen more often. Thank you everyone for this magical moment,” says the tweet.
