Girl is beaten in SP for being a lesbian: 'She will be beaten like a boy'

A 19-year-old girl was brutally attacked by two men as she passed through a street in the Sítio do Campo neighborhood, in Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo. She was alone when she was approached by the pair, who were in a blue car. The victim was placed inside the vehicle and then they told her she would be picked up 'just like a boy'.

In an interview with G1 this Thursday (1st), the girl's mother, who preferred not to be identified, said that she had just left the Tude Bastos Terminal. The young woman was walking along Avenida do Trabalhador when she was approached by two men.

They asked the time, but she ignored it. The pair continued following the victim and she ended up responding. Then they told her to get in the car. When he refused, one of the men went down and kicked the victim in the leg and punched him in the ribs. She fell and was thrown into the car.
